Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the promising actors in Bollywood. He was born on 21 January 1986 in Maldiha, Bihar, India. The termination of his journey is by committing suicide on 14 June 2020 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was an unexpected incident for the subcontinent. He started his carrier as a TV actor. His debut was as lead actor in a TV serial named ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ (2008) that is a romantic drama telecasted on Star plus TV channel. After the TV serial, he offered to play a role in Zee TV’s soap opera Pavitra Rishta organized in 2009 to 2011.
From early life, he was meritorious. He was also a National Olympiad Champion in Physics. In the DCE Entrance Exam held in 2003, he ranked 7th position and got admission in Delhi College of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. During studying, he started to perform in theater and dance. He was passionate about it and took this platform seriously rather than academic study. Due to his passion, he dropped out of DCE after completing three years out of four years of durational academic study.
Professional Carrier
He started his carrier as a TV actor in 2008 and continued TV acting to 2011. From the year of 2013, he started his film carrier with the movie ‘Kai Po Che!’ and recognized as the best male debut actor in Producers Guild Film Awards. He won Best Actor (Critics) category in Screen Awards as a recognition of excellent acting in a biopic titled ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ based on the life of Indian Former cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He also worked for 11 more movies and nominated for the various awards and won several of them till 2020. Apart from, he worked on an only music video titled “Paas Aao” in 2017.

Falling of a star
At the age of 34, he was found dead at his Bandra house in Mumbai. His body found hanging from the ceiling fan. His death is like a shooting star. In the investigation, Mumbai police reported that anti-depression pills and medical papers found in his residence. Based on the investigation report of the police, it presumes that he was suffering from depression and showed that as a reason for suicide, though no suicide note found yet. Police did not find any evidence of a crime while investigating the case. The post-mortem report showed the cause of death as suicide and termed as asphyxia due to hanging.
